Wittclips™

Prior to our invention of the Wittclip^TMfasteners, the most common method of securing a drop in liner in a tank was with a drawstring rope. The problem with the drawstring rope is that it doesn't securely lock the tank liner to the lip of the tank. When the tank is filled with solution it can pull the liner into the tank a bit and greatly affect the fit. The bigger a liner gets the more prominent this problem is.

To solve this problem, Witt Lining Systems invented the Wittclip^TM fastener. The Wittclip^TM is a u-shaped stainless steel clips with a threaded bolt welded on one end. The Wittclip^TMsecurely locks the liner to the lip of the tank. When the tank is filled with solution, rather than pulling the liner into the tank, the weight of the solution pushed the tank liner flush to the sidewalls making for a perfect fitting liner.

We have developed twelve different styles of Wittclips to handle most every tank rim configuration. We have different leg lengths to handle different rim sizes and clips with varied distances between the legs to handle rim thicknesses up to 2 in. thick. We also have a clothespin style Wittclip that can be used on tanks that have no rim at all.
